Monahan has 3 goals in 3 pre-season games, after scoring 4 goals in the 4 playoff games.

I like Freddie for what he is, but I agree. However, Hathaway brings even more IMO.

Hathaway > Glass > F.Hamilton

And what do you do to Gulutzen, who has failed to have this team prepared to play virtually any game this pre-season?? And this was supposed to have been the year where he had the advantage of learning from last camp's mistakes....

Haven't been watching.

Let me guess, Bartkowski has been dreadful once again...?

It's pre-season, so pretty much everything can be tossed out the window - but one thing has me concerned during this pre-season: speed approaching the offensive blue line, or more specifically the lack of it. Our defense (and now goalie) should lend itself to a speedy transition game, and the ability to attack the offensive blue line with all three forwards. What's happening though is that we seem to be purposefully slowing it down in the neutral zone. I can understand why, control is good and attacking as a 5 man unit is important - but you shouldn't pass up the chance to attack with speed Every. Single. Time. in an effort to attack as a 5 man unit.

...on-top of that, we take entirely too many stationary shots in the offensive zone. It's brutal.

I like Ferland on the top line a lot but I'd like to see more of a get-the-puck-back ability out of him. Frolik is great at that.

That's a little extreme. It's not like Gio, Brodie, Hamonic & Hamilton are going to be bad over the course of 82 games just because Bartkowski has looked a bit better than them tonight.
