Both teams look anemic.

Flames should be taking advantage of the Canucks tonight, they have been bad. Even the Sedins aren't sharp...

Curious to see if Kypper and Hrudy backpedal on the officiating comments during the 1st intermission

This will be a dark season for the Canucks.

No better chance for the Flames to get some flow into their game before they face the good teams.

Can you imagine going to your team's first game of the season, and the loan scoring play is an own goal?

Make it happen

Is it just me or does Vancouver's defense make Edmonton's look extra terrible?

Couple of high powered offenses in this one.

Really boring game so far. Both teams look like bottom dwellers.

I think it might be time to push Backlund on to the second line:

Bennett - Backlund - Brouwer

I agree, I think we've played well. Lots of shifts with continuous boardwork in their zone and chances generated as a result.

Bouma, Stajan, Chiasson, Ferland, Frolik, Backlund, and Brouwer all look strong on F. Bennett and Tkachuk with flashes.

Flames are way too passive in their own end, and the breakouts are garbage.

Gonna get eaten alive by the good teams if this keeps up.

I just want to see a goaltender post a shutout but still lose.

You have to be either joking or just being contrarian for the sake of it. C'mon.

Watch a few Liverpool FC matches and I think you'll find that you're wrong about that!

After saying that, there have been a few 0-0 matches I've seen though that have been similar to this....
