Its okay. It was determined today that there are only Bronco and Patriots fans on this board. No more disappointment for you!

The Bucs just have not invested wisely in defense at all over the years. Too many draft picks on offense, too many bad signings in FA on defense. Can't rush the passer, let Michael Bennett go who was the only good rusher they've had since Simeon, wasted McCoy's and David's primes with mediocre supporting casts. Let Revis go and replaced him with scrubs. If not for that Super Bowl more people would notice the Bucs are close to Browns south, although Jacksonville clearly takes that cake. Speaking of which I would imagine Gus is who we all have as favorite for first coach fired this year? I think he's had enough time now to show he isn't a great coach.

My good friend (who is not a member of this board so it's ok) is a lifelong Bears fan and has always had a good level of understanding towards how crap the Beard are. He's pretty sure this might be the worst Bears team in 20 years. On the plus side it looks like there will be at least four 1st round quality QBs this year and this may get rid of Fox too.

Also Seattle has the greatest defence in the league. It's important that people know that.

I think the Vikings defense is a close 2nd. Seattle's D isn't quite so good on the road.

Vikings D has been pretty impressive, like Carolina they can generate a lot of pressure with just four, but Zimmer likes to play aggressive with his defense too so they generate a lot of turnovers and big plays. As much as QB is important, I think I'd rather spend big money on pass rush instead. There isn't a QB ever who is great when he has no time to throw and no chance to find rhythm.

You need to back that up with Analytics and go back 4 years. No one in the Superbowl era has been this dominant. Earl Thomas farts and it causes a kicker to shank a 26 yard field goal. Russel Wilson believed he could throw a first and goal goal line INT down 1 point and they would get him a safety to win the game.

Pay attention to fact and analytics.

Chris Collinsworth is giving Gruden's man love for Wentz a run for its money with his love of Dak. He has not stated an opinion about which defence is the best in the NFL. I suspect this is because he's a Pats fan.

Farting is analytics?

The quarterback is a rapist. Your younger self might forgive you if you abandon the team that plays 4500km away for that.

Al Michaels talking about the betting line is always hilarious.

Nice win for the Cowboys. Romo might not get his job back if Dak keeps this up. Of course it was only the Bears but still well done by the two rookies.

The NFL needs to do a better job scheduling prime time games. I get that Dallas is a prime time staple and the Bears are a big market but this one looked like a dud when the schedule was released. Two primetime games featuring the Bears in two weeks and both were not even competitive. Not going to stop ratings drops featuring possibly the worst team in the league.

I don't mind. I like seeing how bad some teams are. Bears get another MNF game on Halloween.

As least it's not the NBC 8-team NHL schedule.

They are. Also, the Steelers haven't beaten the Eagles in Philly since 1965.

You should've heard Jim Rome gushing about them - and specifically Wentz - this morning as the show started. Basically the only thing he talked about the first 15min. After crushing Pittsburgh - especially at a time when it was the only good matchup and thus had a lot of eyeballs - expect the Eagles/Wentz hype train to officially leave the station.

That division is pretty crap, no reason the Eagles can't win it if they get this kind of play from Wentz and especially the defense.

Banks:

All you need to know about the Browns so far in 2016 was summed up wordlessly in that shot of both Josh McCown and Robert Griffin III standing on the Cleveland sideline on Sunday, with their left arms in matching black slings. A stylized version of that image should probably be the team's new logo

King:

Six months ago this week the Eagles locked onto Wentz. They told no one. But they spent a day and a half in Fargo at North Dakota State—on the practice field, in the classroom (for three hours) and out to dinner—and Philly's staid offensive coordinator, Frank Reich, was reaching for the right word after Sunday's game about that 36 hours studying Wentz.

And don't forget that the Broncos have Von Miller and that means they have the best defense of all time.
