Purchased and played Eclipse last night, fantastic game. Had a great time. I'm gonna need to find a box or something for all the little pieces though!

I got Dominion for my birthday, pretty happy with it. Going to think about some expansions soon. Anyone have any favorites?

I'd say the bigger ones (Intrigue, Prosperity, Seaside, Hinterlands, Dark Ages) are slightly more interesting than the smaller ones (Alchemy, Cornucopia.)
Prosperity adds a bigger money and victory card in Platinum and Colony which can really change the dynamics. Usually longer games result. Personally prosperity is one of my favourites. It has a lot of fun cards and adds a few cards that cost 7.
Alchemy is a wacky one, it adds a new type of treasure called potion and then almost every card in the set costs a potion+. All these cards are fairly overpowered. Probably wouldn't be my first choice.
You can't really go wrong though, none of them are bad.

I bought Dominion - Big Box (includes Prosperity and Alchemy expansions + Black Market and Envoy promotional cards) from Amazon.ca with some birthday money. I should get it this week. Last week I bought it for ~$76, it now shows up on amazon.ca for more than $100.
I played it for the first time (two games) a couple of weeks ago (my friend brought over his big box), and I could tell that it's a game that I'll get a lot of play out of. We played one game 3 players with Alchemy, and one game 2 players with Prosperity, and while the mechanics of the game are the same, the games were very different. The game will have lots of playability, because every game is different.
A bunch of my friends are into the game too, and have various expansions, but I haven't played them yet, but I'm looking forward to trying them.

Really late reply - re Killer Bunnies. (didn't see anyone else reply)
It's a fun game, though it is highly random. You essentially play the whole game (which can be very random in and of itself), to try and earn the highest chance of having the "magic carrot" (i think it's called that) - essentially a lottery.
It also has an element of sillyness, that kids might like.
The game gets more and more complex (but remains quite random) with every expansion that you buy (there are 10). You have to get the expansions IN ORDER, as each progressive expansion assumes that you have the last one.

Can we get a LoW and Forbidden Island review from you? Consider how they would be received from non-gamers.

Forbidden Island is a watered-down (pun intended) version of Pandemic, that is aimed more at children.

Yeah, the friend I played with is a teacher and he bought Forbidden Island for his class (grade 5). It's appropriate for that age level and it's just a simple version of Pandemic, troutman nailed it.
I think Lords of Waterdeep is a great, simple worker placement game. I know it says "dungeons and dragons" on the box but it requires absolutely no knowledge of any prior games and it's not an RPG. Everyone's vying for the resources that are out in front of you on the game board, there's no real hidden objectives or confusing mechanics. I think it would be a great game for non-gamers to get into.

Sums it up nicely.
I might have to quote you when trying to convince the non-gamers in my group to try it!

Played Stone Age for the first time this past weekend. Thought I wouldn't like it because I don't think worker placement games are all that exciting. But, despite my misgivings, I enjoyed it a fair bit. I think I'll give Agricola a try soon.
