So because the site is free it's okay for it to be running on some guys home garage connection? You see those banners over on the right hand side mate? They generate revenue. That revenue could easily cover the hosting costs to deliver a seamless experience.
This isn't some ridiculously high volume image hosting site. It's mostly just web data, with everything else being linked to external sources. No reason for it to be caking like this. It's not 2005 where hosting costs are you know, actually substantial.
