Shots 13-8 for the Heat, Scrivens with several big saves though.

Poirier with a couple more partial breaks in the second, using his speed well tonight.
Heat all over the Condors so far, but can't solve Scrivens.
...and now the Condors scored a weird one.
2-0
Just brutal.
All Heat but then the Condors score a cheap one.
Just irritating.

Heat battle back to tie it in the third at 2 with two gaols from Grant.
But they take a penalty with a couple minutes left and of course the Condors score to take the 3-2 lead.
Shots are 44-21 Heat, and they have had boat loads of great scoring chances.
Just sickening.

Heat will have a powerplay now late.
6 on 4 with the goalie pulled.

This team doesn't seem to get the results you would expect given the talent. I haven't been sold on Huska since day one. How much more rope do they give this guy? I understand this is a development league not a wins and losses league but this team should be developing some winning habits and they just don't seem to be getting any better.

They seem to be playing better lately, but the goaltending isn't there. That's not really on Huska.

Just about every game I've followed, albeit I only get to listen, they've carried the majority of the play and have been real unlucky to not win.
The goaltending has been terrible mostly, and when Poulin came in and they started to roll, he got hurt.

When are they going to give Morrison another shot? He looked good in dev camp, are we giving up on him already?

I know there are lots of bodies to rotate through, but some of the roster decisions boggle my mind.
At the end of the day, the purpose of the team is to develop prospects for the Flames.
So here's a thought... PLAY THE FRICKING PROSPECTS!!

I caught most of the the game.
Kylington looked very good and scored a beauty goal in the 3rd. Others who looked good included Hamilton, Shore, Poirer, and Seilof.
VanBrabant is brutal

How Sweden could ignore Kyllington, while inviting guys at the level of Ollas-Mattsson is beyond me.
Kyllington is playing well against men. He has also upped his defensive game substantially.
He would have been dominant at the WJC, IMO

Who do you guys think will have a better career Hunter Smith or Austin Carroll? I think at least one of these guys will get a chance to be our hybrid enforcer. keep in mind Carroll is 1 year older.
