[QUOTE=fleury;4741131I do think they need a scoring veteran like they had in Andy McDonald, or Steve Sullivan, plus good goaltending.[/QUOTE]
They've tried that with Morrow, Roy, Langenbrunner, Arnott, etc. That hasn't really worked for them, and they often end up being scratched in the playoffs.

Well.. That's it. Unless a Chicago breakdown happens this series is over.

Toews already has half as many points as he did in last years full Cup run, and the same number of goals.

I think Miller ends up in Anaheim, unless they get far in the playoffs with Andersen this year. Maybe San Jose is a possibility as well, since he wants to play in California, but is Miller even an upgrade on Niemi?

You know, I bet if you asked Seabrook if he makes that hit on Backes again even though he got suspended for 3 games, I bet Seabrook says yes 10/10. That totally turned the tide of the series.

Considering San Jose might start Stalock in the next game, you might be onto something.

IMO it only looks that because they've won four straight, but that's just a coincidence as far as I'm concerned. They were all one goal games (except this one).

Really, the Hawks could have and should have won the first two games as well.

So since Bouwmeester is no longer "Mr. No Playoffs" i guess he's now "Mr. First Round".

Although, now that I think about it Vancouver is pretty close to California, and they could be looking for a starter. Nothing would make me happier then to see them sign Miller to a long-term deal and continue their path towards mediocrity for the next five years.

Hawks seem to have broken their backs, they're just controlling the game now.

.... or perhaps they broke their Backes?

I can't cheer for the Blues simply because of Lapierre. I despise that little punk.

I disagree, the Hawks were running around like chickens with their heads cut off early in the series. I had to travel so I missed a couple games (damn American tv) but in games 1, 2 and even 3 the Hawks were on their heels.

I truly believe losing Backes and maybe some injuries we are unaware of played a huge role in this series.

I don't want to give the eulogy before the end of the game here, but I was hoping that the Blues could beat the Hawks as St. Louis fans have been pretty patient for a proper rebuild.
anaheim, LA, SJ, Boston...Burke already said you can have some small skilled guys but need to surround them

lets not get too crazy either, blues are still a very good team...series has been close one really good team was gonna lose

Perhaps this will end the "Miller is elite" talk. Although he wasn't bad in this series, he wasn't good for the Blues this year. Guy has been living off his 2010 season and Olympics for so long.

2 months into the season was everyone not talking about all the good young goalrending in Anahiem? That they had a mini goaltending factory going and had no room for so many young goatenders? What the heck happened to that? Miller to Anahiem for sure, book it.

I think Chicago will be able to handle either the Avalanche or Wild pretty easily.
