Brown pushed back in the third, scoring 2, but PC got 1 and held on for the win.
Gillies stopped 32 of 34 shots he faced. Jankowski finished with 4 shots and went 9 for 17 in the dot. 1 assist each for Jankowski and Gilmour.

What a bust. Janko is useless. Gillies too. He should only have shut outs or he isn't even going to develope into an ECHL backup. All the prospects are busts. They aren't even in the NHL.

Emile Poirier scored with 24 seconds left in the game, but he couldn't prevent Gatineau's 3-2 loss vs Shawinigan. Poirier now has 20 goals and 20 assists in 27 games
Once again, Klimchuk and Gordon are not in the lineup tonight. Roy is scoreless and -2 so far.

Emile Poirier registered four assists today (including a primary assist on the game tying goal with one second remaining in regulation). Gatineau would go on to a 5-4 shootout victory. In addition to that he was a +4.
He was not named among the three stars in the game..

Janko got an assist! He's gonna be a hall of famer!
See, I can rebut an opinion with a caricature of yours too

He has, however, been named first star of the week in the Q - coinciding nicely with the naming of Canada's WJC team...

It's hard to believe that he isn't on the World Junior squad. His numbers are amazing, and better than a lot of invitees.

I'm a little surprised Poirier didn't make the selection either. The style of game he plays would fit extremely well at any spot in lineup. He's got the hands to play top-6, but he's also got the nastiness and physicality to play bottom-6. He's a pretty versatile player and would probably come in handy in the World Juniors.
Oh well, is what it is. It's disappointing but what can you do?

Our favourite Russian, Rushan Rafikov has been invited to the Russia WJC Camp. 10 Defensemen invited. the way he was used in the SSS, I expect that he has a solid chance of making the team.

Probably the reason Poirier didn't make the world junior team is because he had a poor Subway Series.

I think the reason he is not on the team is his skating, although fast in one direction, he is very choppy and not quick enough to react and change direction. He really has to work on this imo. He's putting up points and is good and aggressive but I am hoping the Flames have someone working with him on his skating as I have seen much smoother 5 years olds skating.(let the fury begin, just saying it as I saw it in the SSS)

Some WHL action tonight:
Klimchuck and Gordon still injured as they didn't play tonight for their respective teams.
Roy a minus 2 with no points.
Kulak had an assist but was a minus 1 in Vancouver's win.

Once again, Friday night is College Hockey night:
Just over a minute into their game, Gaudreau has scored to put BC up 1-0. Assist to Arnold.
Yale currently trails Dartmouth 3-0 late in the first; and Michigan State is still scoreless with #1 ranked Minnesota, halfway through the first.
Providence visits Northeastern at 8:00 EST. Live stream will be available here: http://client.stretchinternet.com/cl...castType=video
