Its one of the biggest issues in the playoffs, when a series is 7 games and not 82 games, the pressure rises, the defence tightens up and often the scoring can dry up. You need your big scorers to score in the playoffs.

yup and not only that, planning for just one opponent instead of some team coming in on a wednesday night in January on the 2nd of back-to-backs.

so glad the over acheiving habs are being exposed for what they are. A team on the rise for sure, but not a powerhouse or division/conference topping contender.
This was a battle of the over achievers, but the better core team won, which is how it should be.
Habs have plenty to be excited about. some really good young pieces there. Galyenchuk could be amazing soon.
