Any recommendations.
The BMO World Elite does 5% back on groceries but only up to $500/month so that kind of stopped me mid application.
Anyone know of any that do even 4% but don't have that maximum?

I still think Scotiabank Infinite Momentum Visa is still the best one, haven’t seen any real contenders to replace it yet. It’s got annual fees, but the cash back handily makes up for that.

Thanks.
My research was leading me towards this too. 4% up to $25,000 (grocery/bills/subscriptions) spend per year, so much better than the BMO at 5% capped at $6000.
I'll get the full $1000 back (4% of 25K) on that portion alone based on our family spending.
Plus 2% on gas and 1% on other; so the annual fee is easily justified.

That’s what I have noticed about most of the other ones are capped after an enticing introductory rate. We have a bunch of recurring bills too on there too which is nice. Also some of the benefits for travel and mobile device warranties are pretty good.

I'll second this. Plus if your primary bank is Scotiabank, the Ultimate Package chequing account eliminates the credit card fees. That does require you to keep a balance of over $6000 though to avoid fees for the account itself

Another alternative for groceries and large recurring bills is the MBNA World Elite.
https://forums.redflagdeals.com/mbna...te-mc-2100325/
5 points/$ for groceries and most recurring/utility bills and restaurants. This includes Atco, Enmax (if you can use credit cards) and most Walmart supercentres.
12K points converts to $100 statement credit or 10,135 points for $100 Amazon gift card.
There's a $120 annual fee but that can be mostly covered by the annual birthday bonus which is 10% of your points earned the previous 12 months.

CIBC Dividend Visa Infinite Card offers 4% cash back on groceries and gasoline and there's no cap that I have run into.

Any opinions on this TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite offer? I’m liking this card.
20,000 point welcome bonus + 135,000 pts when you spend $5,000 within six months
Up to 10,000 pts birthday bonus
10,000 pts are worth $50; 2 pts earned per dollar spent; 3x pts on grocery and restaurant purchases; 2x pts fur regular recurring bill payments
Trip interruption and medical insurance; I’ll have to check coverage details
$100 annual travel credit
Annual fee is $139 rebated in first year; additional card $50
Notes
We travel a lot—at least two major trips a year so the travel coverage is important.
Offer says “redeem for travel with ExpediaForTDRewards.com or any travel provider toward purchases at Amazon.com….” Must find out what this means.
Card would replaced Capital One World Elite which has become annoying.

this and the RBC Avion Infinite are basically the 2 best Canadian Travel orientated CC's available right now. RBC is good in that it allows a transfer of points to 4? other airline rewards (westjet, BA etc) which, with transfer bonus's, can really make the redemption side of things very good. Another thing on the RBC side that is popular is getting one of the Avion Infinite Cards and also the ION+ card....then transferring the Avion Premium points earned on the Ion+ card to Avion Elite points. The Ion accruel rate is one of the best out there....a pain but worth it if your main goal is points

I’d take this card now but medical coverage is only for the first four days of travel. That’s concerning. I’ll check the other cards recommended.

You can earn a lot of points with the AMEX Cobalt, which can be converted 1:1 to Aeroplan. Pair it with an Aeroplan Infinite Privilege Visa from CIBC or TD for access to Air Canada lounges and DragonPass lounges.
For U.S. lounge access, the AMEX Platinum charge card is likely the best option. While DragonPass can be unreliable in the U.S., the Platinum card offers additional benefits (restaurant credit) that help offset its annual fee.
