Yes. Although I agree with the statement (moreso religion than god), I feel that putting up a big billboard saying "Without God we're all good" isn't right. Just as I feel the same about "JESUS SAVES" billboards. If what you have makes you happy, awesome. Be that religion or athiesm, great. Just don't put it up in peoples faces.
My position is not unreasonable here. I just feel that some things should be private.

That people pushing religion in your face, is everywhere and you get a little upset about atheists putting up a billboard, is a bit funny.

I'm not upset, I just find it annoying. From both sides.
You're not comprehending what I'm writing, or choosing to ignore it.

OK, annoyed then, not upset.
I find it refreshing after hundreds of years of Christians pushing it in our faces at sporting events etc, that atheists have decided to play by the same rules. Unsurprisingly they were denied.
Sorry it annoys you.

Which is fine, but there's a difference between something that annoys you, and something that should be disallowed because it annoys you.
Just because something annoys you doesn't mean it should be disallowed (which I think you'd probably agree with just clarifying).
You may not like the billboard, but you should support the right for a group to participate in the marketplace of ideas equally.

I would actually love it if they disallowed religious advertising, but they shouldn't and I'm ok with that.

to be fair, religion puts in in your face because that is sort of what it is called to do (depending on religion I guess). For Christianity, Jesus said to go and spread the gospel...so that is what religion is doing....atheism doesn't have the same goals, so it seems wierd that it would be doing the same thing

Yeah, but it also called to do a lot of stuff it doesn't, stoning adulterers to death for instance.

I was referring to what Jesus called them to do. Jesus didn't want them to stone someone, he put a stop to them stoning a lady. The Jews thought they had to make sure everyone else followed the rules, and got carried away. Jesus tried to make them look beyond following rules

I don't particularly enjoy many billboards and/or commercials. Somehow I still manage to muddle through my turgid existence.

Jesus did however call for people to sell all they had and give it to the poor.
No Christian does that...
He also said he was not there to change the old laws (i.e. the old testament) so if the old testament called for stoning those who wore clothes made from two different fabrics, then Jesus fully endorsed that.
Jesus also (apparently) walked on water, turned water into wine, healed the sick and came back from the dead - all things of which there is exactly the same amount of proof as the invisible pink unicorn farting skittles in my backyard.

They aren't though, depending on what the "thing" is that is the same.
If the thing is communicating their ideas to a wide audience to try and encourage people to share those ideas, well everyone does that. The only reason this site exists is because of the human desire to do that, so it's not weird at all.
Well I guess it is a bit weird because up until recently atheists speaking out at all was very weird. I think atheists in fact should get a bit of a pass, in the same way that any other repressed group gets a pass when the repression starts to lift. If society's response to atheism was "meh" then I think it'd be different, but I still read almost daily about people who have been harassed at/by work or disowned by their families or mistreated by their governments because of their lack of belief. So given that I think some degree of active advertising isn't unreasonable, at least until society's response is "meh".
Other than that, what else do you mean by "the same thing"?

Esposito was named to the NHL's First All-Star team six consecutive times (from 1969–74), and won the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player in 1969 and 1974. His Boston fans, celebrating his scoring touch during his heydey, displayed bumper stickers that read, "Jesus saves, Espo scores on the rebound." Esposito, while not a fast or graceful skater, was best known for his unmovable presence in front of the opposition net from which he could score from all angles. Esposito has said: “Scoring is easy. You simply stand in the slot, take your beating and shoot the puck into the net.” [1]
