I just said the evidence was destroyed, so no evidence + young black male victims + superstar athlete = police not particularly caring.

Even though he testified against his friends? Why weren't the friends charged?

He didn't say they did it though. He didn't snitch against them. He admit to giving a misleading statement to police (probably that he wasn't there) and was charged with obstuction of justice, thats all. With no actual physical evidence, and Ray not snitching, of course they walked.
Also, as a Ravens fan, you'll never believe he did it. No point in arguing it really. Most people looking at the evidence objectively would think he was involved.

This is done. Ryan is having his way with us. Falcons are tired of losing in the playoffs. They've had enough of it. They're playing an awesome game.

Being involed doesn't change the fact he's a great player. It's just weird it's almost totally ignored by most of the media, ESPN in particular being especially guilty of overlooking it (especially since they just hired him to work for them)

Inabiltity to stop Gonzalez on those 3rd downs was always going to be an issue today and he's converted 3 or 4 today, 2 on that drive. Seattle needs to keep going and respond and stay just 2 down and wait out Ryan and hope he makes a bad throw or two.

Just to clarrify, the friends were charged an acquitted. But don't let facts get in the way
Quote:
Lewis' attorneys, Don Samuel and Ed Garland, of the Atlanta law firm Garland, Samuel & Loeb, negotiated a plea agreement with Howard, where the murder charges against Lewis were dismissed in exchange for his testimony against Oakley and Sweeting, and his guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice.[12] Lewis admitted he gave a misleading statement to police on the morning after the killings. Superior Court Judge Alice D. Bonner sentenced Lewis to 12 months' probation, the maximum sentence for a first-time offender,[37] and he was fined $250,000 by the NFL, which was believed to be the highest fine levied against an NFL player for an infraction not involving substance abuse.[38] Under the terms of the sentence, Lewis could not use drugs or alcohol during the duration of the probation.
Oakley and Sweeting were acquitted of the charges in June 2000.[39] No other suspects have ever been arrested for the crime.

The scary thing is Julio Jones hasn't really even been involved.

It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the fact that he was acquitted and it was 13 years ago.

Ugh, we don't need to drag this out. Robert Blake, Casey Anthony and OJ were all acquitted too. You can believe he was innocent, as he was not found guilty. Just as you can believe OJ and Casey were innocent too.

They've tried to blitz at times but its left them over matched in the middle of the field with the guys the have had to bring. All it will take though is one bad throw by Ryan and hopefully get in his head.
Another clinical drive by Seattle here moving the ball, those missed points in the first half are going to haunt them.

I think that was the most ill advised pass I've seen in a long time.
