Yeah, if you don't want to button them down, then wear a shirt without the effing buttons. You can't simply buy a BD collar and then leave the two buttons just hanging there like neck nipples. It's on-par with George Costanza trying to wear cufflinks on a shirt that doesn't have french cuffs. If it's a statement of individuality, it's a lame statement.

Is is fair to say that a Nintendo DS version of a game would be about as difficult for a small child as a comparable Nintendo Wii or Xbox game?
Mrs Rathji wants to buy our 5 year old a DS for her birthday, but she really doesn't grasp the concept of any of the games we have already, save some of the mini games in stuff like Mario party. She claims he games are more kid friendly on the DS but I am thinking that we are better off with iOS games on her iPod.

Who decides when kids go back to school? Mine start on the 30, have two days then a long weekend. FFS just have them go back after labour day.
What a CF.

Every school board devises its own school schedule. All must get in a minimum number of school days, about 210. They decide how to get in those days.

From a teachers prospective its a great idea. The summer is a long time for kids to be away from there friends. There is just too many distractions, so the first day or 2 is a throwaway. By putting the long weekend in there the kids will get it out of there system as well as have until the tuesday to make sure they have the right school supplies

Wow. I could not even read to the end of your post. d'uh.I think the DS is only useful when they can read on their own. the ios games seem better suited to small kids.

There is a new stip mall shopping complex relatively near me. They've already got some of the usual stuff, bank, liquor store etc.
Is there any way to find out what the rest of the existing buildings are going to be? In addition to the existing empty spots in the new building (that is completed but not full) there are also empty lots that could be new freestanding businesses. Is there any way to find out what those might be?

Starting this year, my first day of class is after Labour Day. (Thank you, Premier Wall) I don't know why this rule wasn't around for the first 11 years, but I'm happy with the few extra days of summer.

Go talk to the existing tenants, find out who the landlord is, call landlord and ask?

That seems like a lot of work. I was hoping for some sort of online listing or directory that includes the current/future developments. Not a bad suggestion though, but I don't want to know that bad.
I just wanna know if they are going to build a pub and/or 7-11 near my house.

Why are so many doctors these days doing C-sections and why are women just letting them cut into them? *One week overdue? No problem. We'll just slice into you.
I don't get it.
*Yes, actual case of which I'm aware.

Money.
I don't know if it's as big an issue in Canada, but in the States, a C-section brings in a lot more money to the hospital than a V-birth.

Has a drunk driver even been in an accident that was the fault of a sober driver? (ie. sober driver runs the red light.) What happens then? Do both drivers get in trouble?

I would think so, you can still be "at Fault" for causing an accident, just because the other guy is drunk doesn't mean you can blame it on him

Our first was a week overdue and they did C-Section for medical reasons.
Now, every kid we have needs to be sectioned, so we are stopping.
Its actually funny, because my second was fully engaged when they started the c-section, so they had to wrestle to get him out, almost 15 full minutes.

But is money an issue in Canada?

Define trouble.
The drunk would be charged for being drunk, but the sober driver could be charged for running the light, and then face litigation from the drunk if the drunk was injuried in the collision.

Definitely true. Also, I was told by a doctor that the number of C-sections also rises depending on at what point in the doctor's shift the mother goes into labour. Doctor wants to go home and labour is taking too long: c-section. Anecdotal, but there are probably supporting numbers out there.
