Fed does it. Great win for him. Played terrific and if he shows up like this Sunday it should be the record breaker.

Great to see. Federer was making some amazing shots today. I know Djokovic was a little off, but overall, an outstanding performance by Roger.

Murray off to a flying start in the 1st. A Murray/Fed matchup might be the most hyped Wimbledon final ever in the UK.

remember when Tsonga was down 2 sets to Fed last year but then slowly transformed into an unstoppable freight train? it could possibly happen again, but if it did I'd feel pretty sorry for all those throngs of hopefuls camped out on Murray Mound.

Off to the 4th set we go. I'm guessing Murray is feeling that pressure noose tighen around his neck right about now.

Britain can rejoice! Finally, after 74 long years, a Brit male has the honour of losing the Final at Wimbledon! Federer knows this might be one of his chances to win a major, I think he comes out hungry and wins in straight sets.

Nice sports prelude to the Olympics. Sunday the F1 British Grand Prix from Silverstone and Murray in the finals at Wimbledon. Probably a couple pints are going to be had Sunday across the nation.

Also if Federer wins, he's reclaims #1!

Would Federer become the oldest player to earn the number one ranking?

Nope

Andre Agassi was the oldest number 1, last holding the top spot at the age of 33 years, 131 days, on September 7, 2003.

Federer is still only 30 until next month.

Serena puttin the boots to the pole thus far...raining now.

Its like someone opened a time machine and went back a few years with both Federer and Williams doing what they are this week

another pathetic drama-free women's final...not worth waking up early for. but hey at least they're broadcasting in 3D apparently. anyone out there have the ability to watch it that way? I wonder how immersive the experience is.

Serena looks completely lost out there all of a sudden. Stunning change of events.

So now Serena plays the winner between Murray and Federer for the undisputed Wimbledon championship right?
