Would the have contributed to 100% of the goals via assist or scoring it if he contributed to 100% of the offense. That's what is meant by these numbers. I think that might be what you are trying to say.

Given 3 points are not given out for each goal. As such, it is physically possible for him to have 100% if he scored all the goals without anyone assisting on them. Its very possible for him to have a 50 or so point percentage counting it your way if he was in on every goal.

1 Goal, 2 Assists so far tonight.

The Winterhawks are winning 8-3...they are completely rolling over the WHL right now...

3 more points for Sven. He is absolutely crushing opponents. So awesome to see.

Addition: it's not like Spokane is a bad team either. Winterhawks are 9-1 in their last 10 games with Bartschi having 23 points in those games.

I'm glad the Flames were able to mold their franchise around a fantastic generational talent like Iginla.
Coming in late with a nitpick, I know, but this really bugs me. There is no difference in meaning between 'mould' and 'mold'. One is the British spelling, one is American. Whichever spelling you use, it means both 'crud that grows on old bread' and 'something you pour stuff into to shape it'.

If you're going to be a smartass, it's a good idea to make sure you're being smart first.

Winterhawks stomping every opponent right now. 9 straight wins with 34 goals for in their last 4 games. Nuts

I only just noticed according to the WHL scoresheets that Baertschi always appears in the starting lineup, and Rattie rarely does. I always assumed that they played together all the time. Are they on different lines? If so, are Baertschi's stellar numbers not even more impressive if he is constantly drawing the opposition team's top defensive pairings?

Baertschi is fourth in the WHL in assists with 59 in 42-games, and has played 15–19 fewer games than the top three.

I was being a smartass.

I am well aware of the different spellings. Color - colour, mold - mould, etc.

Just having fun, because people like to be grammar nazis! Easy friend, I'll use the neon green text next time.

Go Sven!

Bartschi - Reinhart - Ferland

Not a lot of talk about Michael "friken" Ferland, 40g - 84p and from what I'm told... 9 dominating fights. Lucic didn't look this good!

And Reinhart is quietly leading his team in scoring,If max was on an offensive team I think his middle name would be "friken" as well!

Being particular about grammar is the difference between knowing your crap and knowing you're crap.

I just did some googling on Ferland. (I don't keep close track of all Flames prospects.)

As far as I can tell, we don't have a lot of prospects like him. He's big, he's tough (lots of youtube of him fighting)....and he can score.

He also seems to be a character guy, coming out of nowhere.

Howse looked really good last year and how is he doing now. These guys need to start producing at the pro level before we get so excited about these guys.

Everybody knew that Howse was a project. Plus he had a lot of injury trouble this year (shoulder), but according to Pierre and others, he has played quite well. The scoring hasn't translated to the AHL yet, but it should only be a matter of time once he stays healthy and gains even more confidence.
