They really should have released it last night so we could have left the download on all night. They must have massive bandwidths this month with Madden and NHL

So is the replay system still crappy for saving online goals? 90% of the ones I've saved are overtime winners.

Edit: Replays are done way better. Shows more of the whole play than just the goal.

Is anyone having issues with the Winter Classic mode? It keeps freezing on the intro for mine.

season ticket holder for other games so I decided to download last night. Up in the middle night with sick kids and have been trying to play but I'm getting constant freezing of the game. In fact other than the beginning Winter Classic I actually haven't been able to play a game yet. Keeps on freezing during the load screen.

Right now I'll chalk it up to overloaded servers (unless connected you can't play the advanced copy). No other game I have seems to freeze so problem with the console seems out.

if you have a season ticket, and get nhl 12, will the online version downloaded work after the release date, or do you then have to go into a shop and purchase the disc?

The advance copy expires the day the game physically comes out. So yes, it stops working and you have to go buy it. But you get a few other perks with it, so it's not all bad.

so because of the fact EA refuses to update HUT cards through the year, does that mean that salei will be in HUT mode all year long? he is in the demo as a wing, so i can only assume he made it into the initial launch.

i am not sure how to feel about this. while in a way its cool to honor rusty by being able to play as him all year, to me its more of a sign of how stubborn and broken ea's system for players is. i don't really see why they can't update players teams throughout the year. especially when the rosters have to get set so long before the season, you get so many players on totally wrong teams. last year the wings had lebda even though he was long gone before the season started. based on the default rosters posted on operation sports, the wings still have draper and osgood even though both have retired. you can't accommodate for everything, but their unwillingness to update players is silly. i realize it effects chemistry in that mode, but fact is, chemistry can change.

I really agree, and think it's the same problem for the broken BeAGM AI.

If there is 10 points separating the flames Best player from the worst player on the roster, no wonder the AI can't evaluate trades.

Is David Moss seriously 9 points worse than Iginla? What is that, like 11 percent? You're telling me David moss is 89 percent as good as Jarome Iginla? Feck off, and I love David Moss.

I would have no problem with Bouwmeester at 84 if it meant Brent Carson was a 68, if that 68 was playable. Because a Borderline NHL'er is SIGNIFICANTLY worse in relative terms than a top pairing Dman, and that goes for any team.

Jonathan Ericksson is MUCH WORSE, in a relative measurement, than Brian Rafalski, yet is only like 5 points less.

Give me some freakin' range here.
