Also really impressed with Victoria. Impressive performance against two tough opponents.

Yes going from the tournaments they just had to regular games means the quality goes down. But tonight was bad. Clues leftover at the end of rounds, lots of wrong answers including numerous triple wrong answers. Then final they were all wrong.
Just a terrible game.

I liked seeing the fresh blood have early success.
It's funny watching Masters and feeling like a genius when you know a triple stumper (thanks Robert Mitchum) even though you've only known about 10 out of the 60 questions... and about half of those were guesses you never would have had the guts to buzz in on in the real game.

If you are even on Jeopardy, know your betting strategy! It's almost, if not more, important than knowing your stuff.
In Friday's game, the player in 3rd, Weckiai, should not be in this game. But in these cases 2nd seems to often bet big where in fact they should only be betting 601 to give 3rd no chance.

Jennifer had some really bad responses to clues, Isabella was doing so well till the Daily Double wrong answer. Then Allison just ran away with the game.
What was the bet of 0? She would not have won in any scenario. For sure the leader would bet 1201 only. You should never lose from 2nd place if you're the only one who got FJ right.
Grant was unfortunate to lose his 5th game on the final clue of double jeopardy or I think he would still be going.
