I beat Nioh 2 last night and it was a fantastic game. Once it clicked, I got to really love the combat. The developer, Team Ninja, has a new game called Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty coming out March 3 and it is absolutely a day 1 play for me. I think it's on game pass day 1.
Amazing for a game of this quality to be a day one release on Gamepass. Some good looking day 1 releases coming up in the near future in Atomic Heart, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and Redfall.
Seems like it's getting decent reviews. As an open world game it's probably merely ok but the source material is what probably puts it so high in reviews.
I really do want to play it, may wait for it to go on sale since I'm working through my backlog of PC games that my previous video card couldn't handle now that I upraded.

certainly plan to get it, but after completing Platinum for Death Stranding (what a grind that was ^^), I'm not really in the mood to jump right into another open world game right now. Might hold off for a few weeks.
I just finished Horizon Forbidden West and I’m definitely glad I stuck with it.
I got a little bit bored in the first half the game but it was really well done in the end. I see there is a third game planned, hopefully they can figure out a way to freshen it up and make it exciting.
Question for you guys, how often do big titles go on sale on the PS store? I was hoping to play Ghost of Tsushima next, but i stupidly skipped buying it during boxing week sales and I don’t really want to pay 90 bucks for it.

Played the first hour of The Order, and gave up. Visually very nice, especially for an eight-year-old game, but probably should've been a movie with its cinematic ambition.
From what I understand there's no downside to going down the dark path and using unforgivable curses?
Seems like a missed opportunity, though I guess might be a lot of work to implement in a meaningful way.
Correct. If people see you use them they might make snide comments but it has no real impact on the story or gameplay, and there's no real penalties for using them.
It's one of my big complaints with the game. There's no real karma system, so if you want to play as a good or evil character you really need to use your own head-canon to make it possible.

I can not beat one of the final bosses in God of War Ragnarok. After probably 150 attempts over three weeks, dialing the difficulty setting down to the lowest, a hundred different armour combos, maxed weapons and skills.

According to psprices it's probably due for another sale. This site is insanely useful, btw.

My soon to be 6 year old is a massive Harry Potter fan. We've played the Lego series together, he understands how to use the hot keys but the puzzles are a bit much for him.
I was thinking of playing Hogwarts Legacy with him as in on the couch together kind of guiding him, is this something where he would be able to control the guy for the most part? Or is he mostly going to have to watch me play it?
Is there much text or is it full speech for the most part?

If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus extra or Preimum Ghost of Tsushima is a free download. I hadn’t played it before but it was the first game I downloaded on the expanded PS plus service and put in 60+ hours on it. Fantastic game

You will likely need to play for him. The quests are all voice acted.

I ended up getting Ghost for the 35 bucks or so to upgrade to PS Extra. What a great deal that was. I also got Stray on there which was another one I wanted to play. I had never really payed attention to what comes with PS Extra, so thank you guys for pointing me in that direction.
I’m playing Stray first, I figured it would be a nice change of pace between the gigantic open world games.
