Feels like the program has gone to another level lately & regained all the momentum that seemed to fizzle out after the World Cup. Kudos to Marsch, Kevin Blue and the players to getting things back on track. They're headed in a really exciting direction with alot of great opportunities ahead of them to make history. Excited for what's ahead.

Piette talks about how we need to be more savvy and game-wise (Alistair Johnston receiving the headbutt and not going down as an example). It's Concacaf, we need to play the game
Canada will be hosting a new tournament in June in Toronto called the Canadian Shield. This year's tournament includes Canada, New Zealand, Ukraine and Cote D'Ivoire.
Canada will play Ukraine on June 7. Will be good prep for Gold Cup and its never a bad thing to get more games on Canadian soil.
The tournament will award three points for a win, one point for a draw and two points for a shootout win. All matches will have a winner and games will go directly to penalties after 90 minutes (plus injury time).

Loved it when Piette said that they had to play more like dicks, then apologized for using the word dicks, then the interviewers all said he could swear. Classic Canadian soccer that.
