Who is to say a different thread would have been better? Perhaps E=NG XI was the only thing preventing them from winning. Many lost faith, no one should lose faith in the E=NG thread no matter how bumpy it gets, because at the end of the day E=NG

Quoted from the Score, who notes some highlights from the show coming out tomorrow:

During the finals, Tkachuk gave an interview while floating in his pool, sunglasses on, completely relaxed about the task at hand.

"I don't know what the weather's like in Edmonton right now. I don't even know if they have pools, to be honest. I'm sure they don't," he says with a smirk.

I mean he probably could have stepped up his play and ended the series far earlier...he basically did nothing in the finals and is lucky other guys picked up the slack

that being said there is no bad time to take a shot at the Oilers

When you hear a guy like Ray Lewis speak, it makes you want to go through a wall for him. I don’t even know what that was from McDavid. Honestly it’s hard to take him seriously when he’s having a diva meltdown. This further solidifies just how unlikable he is. That’s not inspiring whatsoever yet the Edmonton media and fans eat it up.

Yeah he's the captain and their best player ... he's the guy to do it.

But find a way to not sound like a kid that had his bike taken away for a week for skipping school.

As the coach that's lost my #### more than once, it's always way more impactful to deliver a calm and stern, even empathetic message that INCLUDES YOURSELF as responsible than it is to throw a hissy fit. No one respects someone just screaming nonsense in anger. Like, yeah, we all lost bud.

"It's the finals" "Not good enough" "Right now"....okay.... strong message.

Ninja edit!

Each person has their own flaws and ways that work best for motivation. As a leader, you learn from how you like to be treated, and other’s reactions to you.

I learned that if yelling even once fixed things, you have bigger problems.

People learn by showing them what can be better in a positive, engaging manner.

I suspect that most people like to be shown how to get better, not yelled at by a 28 year old multi millionaire that had 1 point in 2 games.

There is only one solution to fixing the curse and that is making four thousand more #### posts!

Can't wait for next Saturday when Ronald tells the panel to "dig in".

Followed by a story from 1946 when some random dug in to get him out of his driveway during a snowstorm.

That story would be epic because it would include some sort of time machine and time travel.

Also, we need to do a crowdfund to buy some ketchup costumes and sit behind both nets and the visiting bench.

What is it with Oilers' 1st overalls and their fear of common, ordinary foods?
