I thought last year looked better. I'm pretty uneducated with my indie rock but not many names I recognize there outside of the headliners and EDM. I was hoping for more hip hop and indie acts that I know.
My List:
ACDC, Alesso, Lykke Li, Porter Robinson, Keisza, Pete Tong, Oliver Heldens, Jack White, Axwell ^ Ingrosso (lol so Angello ruined SHM?), Alt-J, Deorro, Milky Chance, New World Punx, Clean Bandit, Drake, Florence, Kaskade, Guetta, Madeon, Kygo, Odesza, RAC, Martin Solveig, R3hab, Dirty South, Cedric Jervais and Annie Mac
Flosstrodomus was the most annoying dj Ive ever seen fyi. Would not shut the #### up.
That is a pretty underwhelming lineup in my opinion. Wonder if AC/DC will get their very own, exclusive stage as they have at some festivals in the past.

Never seen ACDC but still have fond memories Thunderstruck being cranked during hockey warmup!
I really hate to temper your excitement, but check out some recent live ACDC performances on youtube. They're horriawful. Like old man awkwardly panting into microphone awful.
It's beyond awkward at this point, and they've moved into relying on the "Who cares it's F'n ACDC!!" crowd to purchase tickets despite casino circuit-worthy performances, particularly vocals.

You sound like someone who's never seen them live. They put on a terrific show.

I know this makes me a jerk to complain about it, but can we please fix the thread title? It's had that spelling error for years now and it drives me a little more insane each time I read it.

Like no other act at Coachella, Steely Dan test our musical intuition: discordance of music and lyrical themes, songs of transgressive creepitude set what passes for fardley 70's studio jazz to most milennials? It’s just that juxtaposition that makes Steely Dan particularly sinister. Lyrics about incestuous lechers, pedophiles, murderers, drug dealers and other low-down members of society feel more unsettling nestled into inoffensive music—a smooth sheen with an ickiness beneath. Steely Dan are, in fact, dangerous, edgy and cryptic, even (and especially) if its music doesn't sound foreboding. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker may be out-of-touch and casting from their prime, but they’re not boring.
There’s an artistic tension here. The way David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti use their music in films has these kinds of tense contradictions as well. Steely Dan is counterintuitive in that way. The Dan always gets brushed off as bland easy listening, yet their influence in indie rock--not exactly all pervasive--is easy to spot when it appears.
Let’s look past the sound and give Steely Dan more credit than just being Boring Old Men. They’re Dirty Old Men. They play just what they feel.

I was totally wanting to go, have Air Miles to go, and a condo to use close by for cheap and...just couldn't bring myself to do it. Lineup is pretty meh really.
