No excuses from me. We were outcoached again this year.
But what was really weird that the stats were almost Identical, You cant expect to win with 3 turnovers inside the opponents 10 yard line.
Good for Bama, I'm just glad I'm not in jail after 3 bama frat boys surrounding me pushing me and belittling me. The fiance was in her bama gear (she attends UA) and had to pull me away. I couldn't believe it, I wasn't and didn't want to get into a tussle but I wasn't going to allow myself or Kate to be assaulted.

Completely different game if the gators kick the field goal instead of toss the brutal pick in the first quarter when it was 7-0.

The whole section I was sitting in was yelling "JUMP PASS" before the play.
So when the Tide have the best DC in the country I'm sure he knew and he did.
I do however have to give it to Meyer for trying for the TD to take the momentum in the game. It was a failure of monumental proportions. But Urban has taken some heat in the last two years for playing games "conservative" and "not to lose" instead of taking the game by the balls and go.
I would of kicked the 3 but that was me. We also had two more turnovers inside the 10 yard line.
The better coached and better team won last night. I'm just going to enjoy the season for what it's worth. Kate and I will be going to Florida for the LSU game next week so I'm trying to be positive because that 10 hour drive will suck.

Oregon jumps BSU in the Polls, inevitable I suppose. I would say go wildcats Nov 26, but that would likely push them over BSU too.

Well Nevada keeps getting pushed up the polls for another "tough" meeting for Boise....
I love that Texas falls out of the polls but some A-hole gives them a first place vote.

Look at all the teams around Nevada in the polls and tell me they have a better resume than them.
Nevada has handled all their weak competition with ease and blew out a good Cal team at home. The same Cal that blew out Colorado 52-7 and lost to #9 Arizona 10-9 on a last minute drive.

I still can't gauge how good of a team Nevada has but I sure hope they can beat Boise St.
Don't look but Utah has quietly slipped into the #10 spot. SOS sucks but that will change as the season moves on. Deepest team I have seen at Utah.

For some reason Utah, TCU just don't piss me off like BSU does.

I didn't know this until today, but Bama's next four games are all against teams coming off a bye week. Next week being the toughest one @ South Carolina. LSU is one of the four too.

Nik, that is a huge deal down here. People coming up with all kinds of conspiracy theories.
Personally if Nick and Mal weren't too busy declining busts for his statue outside of BDS they would have noticed that before they gave it the "okay" They should be lucky though since this is the weakest the SEC has been in quite some time.
The local radio is starting to pick up on some rumors about Saban possibly leaving after the season especially if they win another title. They said something about Oklahoma State with Pickens fronting the cash or Dallas and a few other teams that would be willing to give up big money and control to Nick.
It's gonna be interesting to say the least, I think Kirby Smart is good as gone and on his way to Athens after this season. (dont forget he interviewed for the DC job last offseason but declined it after he got a nice raise)
Will Bama be the same team once coaches start getting pecked out of the system? Only time will tell. Look at some of the teams that were so good like USC that finally lost a lot of it's luster after coaches started to leave for HC jobs at other schools, Oklahoma, Miami, Florida, FSU, OSU, it goes on and on and on. It's a cycle in CFB that is amazing.

yeah, that kind of speed at the QB position gonna make them tough to beat in the big 12. The potential OU/nebraska championship game looks awesome.

Now THIS is the definition of a fan(atic). Dont know if he is dedicated or stupid.

I'd probably do the same thing, I haven't been this amped up for a football game in a long, long time. Almost flew back to Michigan for it but couldn't justify the cost after going to Miami for the Dolphins game last week.
I think the combination of MSU's ball control offense against a terrible UM D will keep Robinson off the field enough to limit his impact. Robinson is a hell of a talent, but he hasn't faced a legit D yet and MSU has one of the best groups of LB's in the country. With Jones, Gordon, Norman and Fisch they have 4 guys with the ability to keep him somewhat in check, but he'll still make a few big plays. Should be a hell of a game, I'll either be popping bottles or drowning sorrows around 7 tomorrow night.

Bama is in huge trouble down 21-3.
They have the ability to pull it out still, but they have to play perfect football. They don't have the explosive ability that an Oregon has (when they were down 21-3 last week too) to get back in the game in under 5 minutes.
When you consider that Bama scores TDs on those 7+ minute drives, they've got to not only play great defense, but not allow the Gamecocks to pick up 2-3 first downs on a drive even.

Thank god they got that touchdown before the half ... the point after would have been nice though, but it doesn't really matter.

That's the scariest thing about the ducks. They just took 4:10 to score against Washington St and the announcers commented it was their longest drive of the year.

Safety and a FG and now Bama is only down by a touchdown!
