Saints are talking to Jake Delhomme tomorrow. I think they made a mistake when they let him go the first time and trusted the ship to Aaron Brooks.
I definitely don't ever want to see him starting a game, but wouldn't mind him in a backup role.

This would make more sense for him. Jones just left. Greene and LT would make more sense then Petersen and LT.
However, LT did say he was wowed by the Vikings and he could really see himself playing there.

For the Saints fans on here, Charles Grant says he wants to sign with Carolina or Atlanta now, and that he considers the Saints a rival. He also thinks he has five good years left.
5 good years??? This from the guy who's only contribution to the Supr Bowl victory was getting Payton some Juicy Fruit.

While it would be interesting to see what LT and Peterson could do in the backfield on the same team, the Jets make the most sense for him.
While he lost some of his game the last couple seasons I could see him having a couple good seasons behind that dominating New York Jets line.
Would probably get a lot more carries splitting the backfield with Greene as opposed to sharing touches with Peterson.

if he wants to win, the vikings are a better bet than the Jets, dont let the Jets fool you, they are a decent team but they arent elite.

Meh. I can't really complain about his drafting. It's the one area where he seems to know what he's doing. The only really bad first round pick he's had was FredEX.

I don't mind his drafting either. The foundation of a team are the lines and Andy always has and always will invest heavily in this area.
I think the Eagles go heavy on defense this year, with linebacker and secondary being the primary concerns. Perhaps an O lineman depending on the Andrews situation.

Browns sign former Patriots TE Ben Watson to a 3 year deal worth $12 M. Who is going to be TE in New England now?

It's ok to like Fargas now that he isn't a Raider. That guy runs HARD.

Chiefs have brought Casey Wiegman back. Niswanger just lost his job.

I was hoping the Chiefs would bring back Casey. If there is anyway they can get themselves in position to draft Okung, they could have a pretty good line with Waters and Albert at guard Weigman at center, and Okung at left tackle. With backs like Jones and Charles behind that line they might be able to have a reasonably productive offence again.

Jake Delhomme signs a 2 year deal with the Browns. I imagine he wanted a chance at a starting position, which he obviously wasn't going to get in N.O.

Brady Quinn traded to Denver for Peyton Hillis and two conditional draft picks. How do we feel about this Bronco fans?

*Endless string of profanity* That's pretty much how I feel. I hate Brady Quinn with every fiber of my being. Dammit what a waste of conditional picks. Hillis? Meh, whatever he wasn't being used anyway. But Brady Freaking Quinn??? Ugh.
If he ends up being awesome great, but my initial reaction to this trade is "What a pile of crap".

nfl.com's reporting one's a 6th round pick in 2011, and another's a conditional 2012 pick, along with Hillis of course. Didn't really have to break the bank for a former first round pick from '07. It might be the Irish fan talking in me, but I still think Quinn can be a productive starter in this league. I wanna see how he does on a team that's not a trainwreck.
