Arsenal's title challenge was over with that draw to Birmingham(?) a few weeks back.

I can't believe that Spurs actually won this fixture. My world view has been inexorably altered.

Meh not a huge result to be honest. Arsenal were very much outsiders when it came to winning the league title, and Spurs needed them to be missing half the team to actually win. Im guessing Tottenham still chokes away 4th.

haha

Spurs were missing 2 starting midfielders and their RB as well, and Defoe is still not fit

no excuses for the gooners

Palacios, Woodgate, Lennon, Kranjcar, and Corluka. Those missing players are arguably more important to our NON CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SQUAD than Ar5ena1's.
Shouldn't they have more depth than us?? Enough with the excuses - we played a good game and deserved the win.

Not sure I'd agree with the last part of what you said as I don't think that Spurs were the better side.

Having said that, you need to take your chances (what few of them you actually get) and convert them - Spurs did, Arsenal didn't.

I'd agree if we're talking about the game after RVP came on - he turned the game on it's head. Up til that point I don't think Ar5ena1 even looked close to getting one.

usually the team down 2 goals will look the better side in the last 20 minutes. They are pushing while the other side is trying to hold a lead.

but ya, if RVP came on 20 minutes earlier (and to me he looks fully fit) who knows what happens

Never claimed Spurs didnt deserve to win, just meant that I don't see the game as being big in terms of the standings for the end of the year. And like it or not, if Arsenal had a fit Fabregas or a full 90 of Van Persie they probably win no matter if the entire spurs team had been healthy.

except that with a healthy RVP and Fabregas they couldnt win at the Lane last season, it was a draw

and Spurs are a much better team this season than last, even with missing Lennon and Modric for half the year, Woodgate for the whole year etc.

Playing the injury card when both teams had players out is weak. Good teams have good depth. Spurs fully earned the win.

As much as I needed Spurs to lose this game, I couldnt agree more. Spurs played that game well.

Well Arsenal's title hopes were faint anyways. It does show to me how important fabregas and vanpersie are to our squad man the team hasn't been the same without fabregas.

The spurs needed this victory alot more than the Gunners did. Good for them I guess.

From what I've read Spurs played well, but what's with some of you guys being sore winners. You guys won the game, Arsenal fans can speak to the health of their club as an excuse if they please. But then some Spur fans want to bring up the past and blow things off?

You guys won, congratulations, you deserved it. Now act with some class around here.

what?

all we pointed out is that spurs have just as many if not more injuries, who didn't act with class?

Arsenal fans are whining about injuries and pointing out how since they lost the game really means nothing and yet because Spurs fans point out the injuries they have it is them being classless?

Pretty clear which fans are being classless here and they cheer for Arsenal.
