Boomer! SOoner
...Although Sooners will be without starting RB Demarco Murray for the title game..... he is having surgery the 22nd on his knee i believe..... OU will have to depend of CHris Brown ( to run it run it) and Moses Madu....
oh and i guess they will have to use that Bradford kid as well

2 weeks to the HUmanitarian Bowl....Maryland/Nevada.
They have sold 24 tickets between the two schools as of Monday. Yikes.
Quote:
As of Monday afternoon the University of Maryland says it's sold about 16 tickets to the game. The University of Nevada says it's sold 8 so far.

68 teams in a bowl game this year.
51 not.
Talk about rewarding mediocrity.

You're assuming that spending your new years at the humanitarian bowl or any other of the "mediocre" bowls is a reward.

I think they need to keep pounding Reynolds right up the middle. Big chunks almost every time.

Brutal non-call on the hold there. Lovely. 21-0 Richmond.

Well, Montana loses 24-7 to the better team. How Richmond lost to James Madison twice is a mystery to me. I guess a first year coach and a new system takes some time to get down, but that team is much better than JMU. Much better.
Montana never gave up, so I'm proud of how they played. Mariani was awesome.
There will be one or two guys off that Richmond team in the NFL very soon. When you have guys making Montana's vaunted OL look like a pop warner OL you know they are good.

Definitely an overachieving season for the Griz. I don't think any Grizzlies fan I know thought they would get this far with the turnover from last season. Congrats to them.
I love big time college football, but they need to find a way to figure out a playoff. Could you imagine a championship game where teams like Florida, USC, Oklahoma, and Texas have to fight it out to get to there? It would be bigger than the NCAA basketball tournament hands down.
