Dead mouse in my backyard. Do I put the corpse in the trash bin or the compost bin?

Put small animal carcasses (e.g. birds, mice, fish, rabbits, chickens) in your black cart as garbage. Make sure to double bag and place inside the bin for pickup.

The real answer is to make a cool model out of it.

Oh yes...'Amateur Taxidermy' is always the answer.

Just toss it in the alley or street and let a bird or other animal have a snack. That is what we always do.

I have. But I need context.
I went there many years ago and....It did not go well, we'll leave that out for now.
What are your intentions? Going with the kids? Wife? Going on a date? I dont recommend that last one.
Unless its some sort of test.
Like...in this instance, how does she react to rudimentary taxidermy? In my case I took a date to the Big Valley Creationist museum one time. That was enlightening.
"They make some good points!" She says.
And..."we need to leave" I say.
That was an uncomfortable drive home.

Definitely a family visit with no need to impress anybody. Wondering which category is falls under:
1) Genuinely interesting.
2) So bad it’s good.
3) No redeeming qualities.

In that context there is your answer and if its a family trip for laughs you'll have fun.
Don't worry, the 'Gopher Burgers' aren't actually made of Gophers.
Allegedly.
Squirrels aren't off the menu though.

And if they like Torrington, dont forget the Remington Carriage museum as seen on a slide-show of Patty and Selma's trip to Alberta.
Oh sure, we all of the A-List museums, Royal Tyrell, Frank Slide, etc. but its the obscure ones that you really want to hit.

Well, my wife and 15 year old daughter, who suggested it. I think we’re done with the A-list stuff. For example, we loved the potato museum in Idaho. At the same time, we don’t like those places where you’re the only person there. There was a museum of torture in Amsterdam like that, and it sucked.

Okay...15 is pushing it I think? I dont know, you know your kid. Sense of humour?
And I'll not hear disparagement of the Amsterdam Torture museum!
Its a fine establishment. Sure, its no 'Anne Frank's house' but it tries it's best and its actually slightly less depressing.
Its better than the Picasso museum which was mind-numbingly dull but, in fairness, far behind the Rijksmuseum, which is awesome.

She has a weird sense of humour, so it will probably be good.
I was really expecting better displays of the various torture instruments in Amsterdam. I was really underwhelmed by the whole thing. We didn’t book Anne Frank in advance, so that ended up not happening, but the smiling tourists posing for family photos in front was a little cringe though, kind of the same experience at the Hiroshima bomb dome.

Oh I know exactly what you mean.
The Torture museum was a little...'touristy' where...I dont think people really grasped how brutal it really was and the museum does 'dumb it down.'
Anne Frank's house...again...this was a Cathedral of Despair. Do people understand what happened here? For her it was a 24/7 nightmare. This isn't a 'selfie spot' this is a candid exposition of a terrified person and their thoughts and feelings in situ. It is not a 'fun time.'
I've never been to Japan so I can't comment on the Hiroshima dome.
Anyways, where were we? Right, Torrington. You'll find it closer to a fun time.

I'm taking my family to the Museum of Jurassic Technology next month in LA. It is supposed to be a really off the wall experience.i've purposely avoided doing very much research because I don't want to ruin it for myself.

Speaking of more off-the-wall museums, and actually I don’t know if this museum was a big deal or not, but we kept seeing signs on the road and it was free, though for some reason I was a tad skeptical cause of how almost persistent they were to try to get people to visit. Anyway, the Atomic Museum in Idaho was also great. It’s no potato museum, but definitely worthwhile. And they had these crazy nuclear powered aircraft jet engines. They were obviously scuttled for reasons of sanity but that place was actually really neat.

That is some really interesting history down there with Atomic City and the reactor meltdown.

The Michelin windshield wipers from Costco are cheap and they left streaks immediately the one time I bought them. I've heard the same complaint from others. But I just read on Reddit that the instructions say to run them on a clean, dry windshield for a minute. First, I've never read the wiper instructions in my life. Second, I'm going to have to try this. I'm guessing this removes a tiny bit of rubber that causes the streaks.
Is this true?
