More like they just don’t like the organization or have some major issues with players or coaches on it. Probably more of an in-the-game rigging / bias.

I believe the NBA thing is likely a stretch, but in that instance it was the mob paying off refs to call things a certain way and I dunno, that’s what the officiating in Flames games looks like to me. Shrug.

I wouldn’t say it looks equitable and I wouldn’t say it is “just once in awhile”. It is almost always frequently biased against the Flames. Probably like 75-80%.

The Flames choked this game away, refs or no refs. The officiating was terrible, but the Flames have themselves to blame far more than the refs.
