Blaming one player of this series is an easy out for the rest of the team. Way too easy, and not realistic.

Markstrom's worst game was the one they won. He needs to be better, absolutely. And I think Vladar should start the second.

But all his fault? Nah, not at all. Plenty of blame to go around.

How's that first line doing?

Why did Tofolli take that penalty? Was it because there was a scoring chance?

Or maybe because he’s just very very very dumb.

Classic Oilers story line though:
-Bad give away
-PP goal
-Deflection (softy)

Boys are playing their best game of the series and are not being rewarded. No hockey gods.
Useless stats. If the Flames were better they would be winning. They have no jump, they aren't playing hard. They are going through the motions.

If Vladar was going in, Sutter would have out him in already. I can’t imagine he’d wait at this point.

Team plays well in front of him.

It's not just markstrom is playing below average. Smith has been playing really well

Doesn’t matter. The end result is the scoreboard, and the way it’s going this is done Thursday night.

Smith has had some nice saves, Markstrom has not.

Simple as that. Out shooting or chancing them doesn't mean #### when the goaltending isn't equal.

He is also rocking like a .8 save percentage through 4 games he should not have been back after vladar took the net last game

Markstrom also isn’t very good. Might as well change it up to avoid a blowout.

They should just leave Markstrom in Edmonton. Let him stay the summer in Siberia and figure out how badly he let his team and city down. ####ing clown.

####, throw wolf in there if he's up with the team. If he gets lit up for 3 goals every period well then we're right where we are now

They have ZERO confidence because our goalie can't stop an effing beach ball.

Well I may be a bad fan, but I'm done tonight.

Going to walk the dog and play cards with the kids (that's never disappointing).

I mean, tonight is probably his worst game. That gaffe 20 seconds in - hostile environment. Just couldn’t happen.

Can't be worse than Markstrom the past 10 periods.

The body of work in this series is pretty bad. Game 1, up huge and he lets them back in, Flames still win. Game 2, same story, up huge and no big game saving stops. Game 3 was better but still gave up 4. Tonight, two soft goals in a must win game. He has been atrocious in this series and has cost at least one, probably two games.
