Me too, I hate Vegas but I like being right
Called Vegas so I will go for them slightly, the whining about the refs is pushing me further to their side. I am cheering for Tampa/NYI in the finals though. Yes that Tampa.

Tying goal was stinky but no goalie is perfect. Be interesting to see who starts for Vegas next game.

People talking about how this refereeing standard is somehow indicative of the league wanting the Golden Knights to win... this type of reffing favours Montreal. If they were calling things tight - i.e., calling every hook, hold, every slashed stick, every can opener, every time there's interference, the Golden Knights would just go full-on with their up tempo transition game and score three power play goals every game.
Yeah, they've missed some calls against Vegas, but the entire methodology being employed here benefits Montreal's style of play.

Yeah, if anything Vegas (which is a team that adapts well) has just adapted its play to the reffing.

Go Islanders. Can't cheer for either of these teams really. Push comes to shove I guess I'd go Habs because my wife is from Montreal

I hate Mcnabb. Throws some big hits, but he is a dirty SOB. Another meathead defenseman. Of course he gets the even-up goal. Should have been a Habs 5 on 3 after he mugs Suzuki at the end of the second.
Lehner- one of the few guys on the knights I like. Good for him.

A year after he was in the final.
The man is a former MVP, champion, 2-time gold medallist, and all around menace.
Better than 0.5 PPG in this playoffs, playing 14 minutes a night. It’s not like anyone can argue he’s done.
Tkachuk could learn a lot from him.

Forget it. Corey Perry will never play here.

If Tkachuk can only learn from people being in his presence that’s a problem

people need to get over this idea that the Flames have a chance to match any UFA deal
Flames didn't pass on Perry to sign Leivo

I think more people are thinking Perry would have been a good pickup off waivers to replace Simon or Nordstrom, If Perry refused the move at least the Habs wouldn't have had him.

The poster specifically mentioned Leivo making more money. If it were waivers we have Leivo either way.
Toronto, Winnipeg, Vegas, really should have picked up Perry on waivers if we are going to go there

I know you like to argue with anyone who has any criticism of this management team but. If they had picked up Perry on waivers, and he had reported, they could have demoted Leivo, replaced him with Perry, and saved cap space. If he didn't report, c'est la vie.
