There is no controversy here.

Also, #### Boston

The two run walk off homer was in the 13th

Umps already off to a horrific start. Robozones can't come soon enough.

Well, Boston looks like they're taking it to Tampa's lacklustre pitching. Boston/Houston coming up? Potentially the most irritating teams to watch in the past decade.

Rays Rays-ing their way to a potential loss.

McHugh was cruising, but he was just the designated opener, they bring in McClanahan to eat the bulk of the middle innings and he has given up 5 runs and cannot get the 3rd out right now. While I admire their devotion to their philosophy you have to wonder sometimes, such a dogmatic approach to baseball eventually rears it head at the worst time. They won 100 games so what do I know, but in a short playoff series, these things matter.

The only thing that bothers me about the Red Sox and Rays series is that they can't both lose.

Hopefully this leads to the death of the phrase “Champa Bay”

For all their astute moves the Rays make I wonder if they regret picking up Nelson Cruz. He's vastly underperformed and isn't very Ray like with is lack of versatility. I also wonder if this may effect the market for Cruz in the offseason.

That's just how they are, same with Milwaukee. Today the Brewers took out Peralta after four scoreless in a 0-0. Reliever gave up a 3 run homer in the 5th.

You are right, it works in a long season but not the playoffs.

Well well, just when Tampa Bay was out, they're coming back. Fitting if they do.

The best part about this is it's in Boston. Shut those cocky bastards up.

Yeah, in hindsight they should've just played it like it's an extra innings game and just bunted to get the guy to third.

I mean Cruz is playing equally bad right now, Rays getting nothing from the 3-4 guys has a lot to do with their current situation.

Yeah that would've been a perfect time for the Rays to Ray with Lowe at the pate. Especially with the funky defensive alignment the Red Sox had. All kinds of chaos could've been had.

Great throw by Kiermaier, but what is Verdugo doing there?
