All we do is take junk shots form the point. I can’t believe a head coach actually thought this was an acceptable strategy.

That's my point. They're not prospects, and they haven't been for a while.
Hanafin has played over 400 games. Only Valimaki is technically rookie status. The Flames also have the oldest roster in the division.

Rookies and young players on ELCs are more exciting, partially because they're less predictable. If the team is bad, it's more exciting if the players are at least young.
I don't think you disagree.
