Watched the highlights, team looked great and Meadows looked amazing! Best home field in the league hands down. Some great strikes, and caps from Mason and Klomp, both appeared to look good. Can't believe we didn't sign Ongaro and let him slip through our fingers. Great game overall!
Atco Field was hopping and loud! Great to be back! A hard fought win, hopefully the knocks picked up by a few of the boys are minor. Farsi was grabbing his hamstring the last 15-20 minutes
Someone with a Cavs jersey (footsoldier?) With Covid 19 on the back was arrested by police as I was walking to the shuttle. What's the story on that? Anybody see what happened?

I saw two Edmonton FC fans complaining to the Spruce Meadows Security Telling them to “Call the cops”.
I had an absolute blast in 200 tonight. DAMN that was fun! We were rowdy from the start right to the finish, then ended my night with half price brisket at Comery Block. Work is gonna be tough tomorrow! Summer nights don't get much better than this!

Being back at Spruce Meadows tonight felt so freeing; the real taste of a return to normal life I've been longing for. As has been mentioned, the atmosphere was great and the pitch looked and seemed to play awesome.
It was an entertaining game. Some lapses in defence in the first half could have seen us down 3-0. But I think were were value for the win in the end. Good to see Mason open his CPL account. I thought Farsi and Escalante had good games. Camargo had some good moments as well.

Was one of the ultras. I don't have all the details but there was a confrontation with some of the away supporters. Cops got involved.
Hopefully they post that filthy move by Escalante on Gee in the first half, the Onesoccer highlights don't have it. That was nasty. Escalante in the first half was the one player really bringing it and willing to shoot. He's wasted playing fullback but I understand why they want the left footer playing LB. Hopefully Field comes back soon (among many others)

And I must say.... that pitch was FANTASTIC. Holy crap did Spruce Meadows do an amazing job upgrading the field. The grass looks lush, thick, pristine. Combined with the new lighting, ATCO Field almost feels like a completely refreshed place. Absolute quality.

Given that Spruce Meadows limited capacity to 50% (Source: https://calgarysun.com/sports/soccer...ame-since-2019), and the pandemic of the last 18 months making some people hesitant to attend events like this, I think that's a pretty good crowd.

That was a super fun night! I learned last night that the bar in the corner serves old fashion's. I thought that was awesome last night, although this morning I don't know if that was a positive development
