I don't think the Jets are in this game really. The best Flames players showed up and are taking advantage of a weaker team, as they should be. Can't see the Flames having too many problems seeing the game through now.

Geeze I wonder if Ron Maclean is going to heap praise on the Backlund goal the way he has been heaping praise on Neals goal from last night. The dynamics on both goals were similar. But we all know that Ron only waves the Pom Poms for his beloved Oilers.

Calgary's best players all contributing with Lindholm, Backlund, Monahan and Tkachuk.
Calgary doesn't have a game breaker; its gotta be everyone contributing. Happy to see it...gotta keep it going in the third.

I couldn't stand him as a player, but he's a decent panalyst. Sometimes it's good when the "bad guy" gets that kind of job.
