That rumour has been floating around for a while now and I believe it's one of those 'fake news' rumours that spreads like wildfire. Nowhere has that been substantiated. We really need to be extra vigilant about what we read and spread in todays social media age.

Episode 4: Halfway through the season and things should be all-out the rest of the way.
Also, something to piss off the prequel-haters...
NSFW!
The first mention of Midichlorians (or "M-Count") since the prequels.
If they just want Baby Yoda to extract the Midichlorians from his blood, they're going to think they hit the motherlode when they find out Ahsoka is still alive. That is, until she cuts their heads off, at least.

I never understood why people got so butthurt over midichlorians. All it is to me is a way to explain why some folks can use the force and others can’t.

I get why people get upset, it does remove some of the mysticism of the force. It removes the idea of the energy field that surrounds us and binds the galaxy together concept and replaces it with parasitic blood cells that talk and interpret the will of the force.
To me it was a good idea in terms of answering the question, how do we know how powerful someone is, how do we quantify that Anakin was the chosen one, because Fans for some reason want to know in almost hard numbers. They just can't accept it, and having Anakin pulling planets together would be groan worthy.
When you look at how they measured power in the books legend and otherwise.
in the Force unleashed they completely over powered the force when Star Killer pulled down a Star Destroyer.
In books that talked about the ancient jedi's they had Sith creating super novas, pulling planets together, and simply mind murdering thousands. Even Palpatine became too powerful, when he was creating massive Force Storms.
In one of the EU books a group of Novice Jedi's pushed a super star destroyer out of the Star System.
At one point I think in the Jedi Knight Academy trilogy, they tried to quantify Force Powers by making it a mutation in the brain that made you able to access the force, and the Empire had a way to scan people to find this nub.
Could Midichlorians been executed better? Absolutely.
Honestly until the ROS the one thing I liked about the new Canon books and even the movies was that they tempered Force Powers. You were faster, you could anticipate your opponents moves ahead of time, and you could get some insight into the future and past via visions. But while Ray was over powered for one not formally trained, she wasn't pulling planets out of orbit and playing pinball with Star Ships.
However that Palpatine lightning destruction of the Rebels was to me was to over powered and silly.

That was the Trolliest troll episode ever. So there I was, snacks at the ready, rubbing my hands together in the excitement of seeing Ahsoka Tano take the screen, and then bam, Mando goes and say "well, we aren't going to get to where we need to go with the ship like this, SIDE QUEST! "
And from there on out I was bummed.
Ah well, let's see what next Friday brings.

I dont know what to tell you. I'm surprised at how many people thought that was going to happen today. Of course it wasnt. His ship was still broken.
Everyone knows that you take care of the necessities before you start gallivanting about the Galaxy going on adventures and whatnot.
And best of all....Directed by Carl Weathers!

Good episode. So that Empire is building super soldiers? Were there people in that armor? Are these the inquisitors?
Spoiler!

I don't think that he needs inquisitors. There aren't a lot of Jedi around.
I originally thought that he wanted to build his own version of Vader, a powerful Force User to inspire those around him.
Maybe his own version of the Dark Trooper with Force abilities.
In the books, there were experiments with transfusing people with the blood of Force sensitives but it never worked, and usually the person receiving the blood went insane.
Love where this season is going. Really good episode with lots of great action.

I get more and more impressed with the action with every episode. That canyon chase and Razor Crest save was some of the best yet on TV or film to date. And Apollo Creed made it, not some overhyped Hollywood elite director.
And I don’t think they were trying to clap back at prequel haters that hard. They couldn’t even say “midichlorians” out loud, it’s just M-count now. They might have just revealed the backstory of Snoke and there’s people complaining that this was an inconsequential side quest? Please.

I'll echo those sentiments as well. That was another terrific episode with some great character moments, and I thought they moved the story forward nicely with some interesting plot developments. Not to mention the action and CGI were once again top notch.
Dare I say, this might be the most enjoyable and entertaining show on TV right now.
did anyone else feel like they were a 10 year old again watching return of the jedi for the first time when the troopers broke out the speeder bikes? so many of the shots reminded me of return of the jedi...
25:16 they zoom in on the shots coming from the speeder bike's gun
25:27 they focus on the trooper's foot as he "hits the gas"
25:42 the trooper rests his blaster on his left arm and shoots across
it felt like "i was back on the forest moon of endor" all over again!!
can't wait for next week!

They took some lines from the OT, the "Load your weapons" line from the Stormtrooper.
Someone finally complained about the lack of safety rails. I laughed out loud at that as well.
I'm not sure, if I want to take back my theory that Gideon is part of the first order, except when the Cruiser Captain talked about establishing a new Empire. Maybe Gideon is the Imperial remnant that stayed behind.
Loved the Tie Fighter stuff just as much as the Speeder bikes stuff.
My heart kind of broke when the pilot asked Cara who she lost at Alderaan and she replied that she had lost everything.
Baby Yoda in the wiring closet was hilarious. I still don't want him to talk.
I watched the Lego Holiday special, and I loved it because it bought back the Jerk sarcastic Palpatine, but they had a brilliant cameo from Mando and the Baby that made me laugh.
