Ugh, yes. (and that's no slight against Monahan, he's been just fine)
Gaudreau just looked most like himself in preseason beside Bennett.
I bet GG will try it if the offense stays dry.

I would say exactly this except to add that Brodie looks like he did to start last year. That is to say, not good.

I feel bad for Kylington having to come up in this org

Uhm what? Where has he held him back? He wants all the D involved and for whatever reason will only use Brodie on the first pp a spot i think he shouldn't be near.

I know McDavid is the best player in the league, but this isn't a local Edmonton broadcast. This is a sickening one-sided broadcast. Hard to watch. I know in any game McDavid plays he's going to be the focal point of the broadcast, but the amount of fluffing going on here would make he porno industry jealous.

It's pretty clear from watching Hamilton and Gio, and even Bart taking the odd rush, that defencemen aren't being stifled.

Sportsnet says just as they cut to commercial, "we'll be back to mcdavid right after this"
I'm sure they didn't mean it like that, but jeez

No, the guy does kind of deserve it. He shouldn’t be on the team as he was outplayed by a few different players through training camp and he’s only here due to reputation and a contract.
This site always has people coming to the defence of Flames players no matter what but sometimes nonsensically.

Love the way Gulutzan has the team playing. Very lucky to have him behind the bench.

McDavid's speed is literally game-changing. It changes all of our defensive angles and positions. Flames are having so much trouble adjusting.
