I assume Treliving explained the Flames plan pretty directly before the training camp. Not much reason to keep that a secret.
I think in any case it's obvious this was the plan all along. Not that hard for Jagr to reason it out himself.

It is certain that by signing the treaty he was delighted by passionate fans from the famous Traveling Jagrs group from Alberta, Calgary, who followed him to various stadiums. "They're definitely hot dogs," Jagr replied.

I've usually gotten one in a couple business days. Which is weird, since you think they would get it to you quicker if they want you to spend money.

Can't wait to see Jagr in action with this team.. Saturday needs to hurry up - that or a miracle happen for Wednesday haha. Either way we get to see a legend suit up in Flames silks for a whole season... #2 all time. Amazing - still get chills!

Saturday might not happen either. Depends if the coaches think he's ready or not after missing training camp.

I still can't believe we have the legend Jaromir Jagr on this team. I woke up this morning and the excitement hit me again in the same way it did yesterday!
This guy is gonna get the loudest, most massive cheer his first appearance on home ice. The roof will blow off, as it should.

Reading about Jagr and what the coaches players and media learn from watching him is pretty amazing.
Not just a great player but an Incredible human being.
So glad this happened for our players. Learning how to be a pro, how to win, how to take care of your body......it's just wow.
So glad Treliving is here and pushed so hard to make this happen.
It's a big win for everyone.

I was so soured on the season because of all the arena crap and POOF. All gone. I don't care that he's in the twilight. Unequivocally the greatest non-canadian of all time and it's not close. Just a legend.

I wouldn't read too much into Google translate quotes.
But I'm sure the answer is yes.

Fun fact: Jaromir Jagr is the 2nd leading scorer in NHL history. He ended the career of the leading scorer in NHL history by scoring the OT winner against the New York Rangers in game 82 of the 1998-99 season.
I think that's poetic.

Talked to Fanattic this AM. They said they sent off 2 HUNDRED jerseys yesterday for "rush" stitching and lettering.
Pretty sure This guy is going to set the record for all time highest selling Flames jersey.

I would sincerely hope that they don't sit him for the home opener...
There is just too much an opportunity to miss him skating out.
Beesley calling out Jagr's name in the starting lineup for the 2017-2018 Calgary Flames at the home opener? Come on, everyone has chills already.

The best thing about the Jagr signing is that the Arena thread is off the first page. Let's keep it that way until some actual arena news comes out.
