Just saw a picture of the Sens building putting the playoff towels on the seat and it just bugs me.

The Flames don't do towels or anything of the sort if i recall. I understand the fans take it upon themselves to do the C of Red but even in Philly where they wear the orange jerseys....the flyers hand out orange towels.

Its great and all that the fans have the onus to do the C of Red and it makes it look authentic but honestly...it just makes the Flames ownership/management look cheap.

thats just something that grinds my gears.

The Flames have tried many handouts over the years.

White thundersticks, red thundersticks, the pom poms as mentioned, many different glowing items, red/yellow scarves, etc.

2015 NHL Stanley Cup Western Second Round - Anaheim Ducks defeat Calgary Flames 4-1

Fairly recent history is worth taking a look back at. Also it jumps out that the Flames are a much better team now compared to 2015.

We had a lead in both Game 4 and Game 5 of that series. Both of those games we took penalties late in the 2nd period and Anaheim scored early in the 3rd.

Imagine what could have been if we didn't take those stupid penalties or killed them off. Series could have easily went 6 or 7 games.
