It was offside, and I guarantee if it was the other way around it would have been brought back.

There have been so many calls like this this year. I don't understand how some of you can still deny it actually. I find that bizarre.

It's convenient to always just stay the course and claim nothing's wrong, it makes you look like the 'level-headed one'. I think you're wrong. Since Wideman, the officiating and NHL has obviously had a very clear slant against the Flames.

Why the hell else would the Flames themselves bring it up with the NHL on officiating?!

The numbers don't really support this.

It was a bit of that too, for sure.

But some Ducks players definitely looked frustrated towards the end of the first.

And yeah, Anaheim is gonna flex their hockey muscles and put a puck or two in, but have to have that push back that the Flames show against a lot of other teams. The Ducks are just another club. Just play your game and stick to it. Don't change it just because of who you're facing.

I don't really view challenges going one way or the other as something stats can back up since each challenge is a unique contextual situation.

If you want to give me stats, show me the stats specific to the Calgary Flames and what calls have gone their way vs. haven't... at least those would be somewhat more meaningful.
