Wouldn't be surprised if they brought Miller in for the 6th to face the big bats.

The Thing about baseball is that you can pull a stat to make any argument you have.
There's no way though you can watch this team regularly and see though that they cannot win a game without hitting 3 Homeruns and their ability to do that shrinks in the playoffs against better pitching.

Change or approach next year. Hit as many homeruns as you can works in the regular season. Not so much here.

It really isn't coming down to good pitching. It comes down to the Jays inability to punish mistakes. They are swinging right through and fouling off meatballs. You might have a point if the Jays were hitting a bunch of deep flies but they can't even put mistakes in play right now. It's baffling and has been happening since the start of September.
Stroman leaves a couple balls over the plate and they get rocked. The Indians do the same and there's not even balls in play. All this talk of great pitching (Miller aside) is all just results oriented - the pitches are there to hit.

They could bring Shaw in the fifth then if they think Allen can go 2.

I'd be shocked if Miller doesn't come in to face the top of the order.

Another game where the pitching is letting them hang in there.
The bats need to do something, anything.

As a fan I don't think I've ever been this critical in a 1 run game - in the 5th inning. So skeptical of any comeback.

So proud of how these Jays pitchers have done everything in their power to give this team a chance to win
