Gotta say that this was a good series and fun to watch. Nice to see the Panthers back in the playoffs and made a good run against a decent Islanders team. Many thought this was going to be a blah series, just like the last time the Panthers made the playoffs 4 years against the Devils. Both times, the series turned out way better than expected. The heartbreaking thing for Panthers fans is that both times the season ended suddenly in double OT. It seems the Panthers are cursed in OT when facing elimination. They lose to the Avalanche in the 1996 SCF in triple OT and then in the 1st round to the Rangers in OT of the 1997 playoffs.
