It's probably cause the deal is so one sided that the NHL keeps calling the other GM and asking "are you sure?"

Good chance we find out the verdict in the Wideman arbitration case before this Flames trade is announced.
|
Maybe they got the arbitrator on the line as well, hehe.

Maybe Wideman to Boston? That'd be a nice surprise!

My guess is the website guy removed Wideman by accident instead of Russell.
Hudler is still on there as well

Please be Wideman, Colborne, and two 2nd round picks for Drouin.

Does this trade need a neutral arbitrator or something?

I wonder if the lag is the Flames trying to use the Dallas conditional pick in another deal and it blowing the minds of the NHL office.

Wideman was removed from the website the day his suspension was first announced.

Could it involve the Coyotes? They just made two trades that have been reported that essentially resulted in a net -3 to their reserve list, which stood at 50. Maybe they needed those transactions to go through before they acquire someone from Calgary? I am clutching at straws as I cannot see why they would want anyone from us, unless it is just a minor league deal. Minor deal could make sense, given Treliving's connection to the Coyotes.

Brandon Bollig to Boston Pizza for a part time fry cook and a dozen large pizzas to supply the year end team pizza party and sleep over.
