I really like Joe Colborne playing C. He's had a really solid game.

A player winds up and takes a wild swing at a bouncing puck and during the follow-through the stick contacts his opponent in the face. What penalty is assessed on this play?
ANSWER:
A minor penalty shall be assessed on this play. If the player struck by the stick is injured on the play, a double-minor penalty for “high-sticking” shall be assessed. (Rule 60.2 and Rule 60.3)

Hartley needs to see more before he will use Sven to defend a lead I guess. Sven had decent offence tonight but I don't know that his D was great. Especially against the huge Jets.

I don't think Hartley's very fond of Sven in general, so that may be a long time waiting.

The best coaches are hardest on young players with the right potential. Joe Thornton credits Pat Burns for making him the MVP calibur player he turned into, mentioning how often he was his whipping boy.
