This is how the tournament has been called so far, flopping has been effectively rewarded. Colombia is playing the exact game they need to play given the circumstances and the US is frustrated.

Christen Press, Morgan Brian, Heather O'Reilly are on the bench. If their next game was Germany, it would matter but US can have a bunch of people step up from the bench and beat China. Won't be a walloping, but they can win.
Have to win this game first, of course. Penalties favour US for sure: 20 year old rookie Colombia GK vs Hope Solo. Morgan, Rapinoe, Wambach potential shooters for US.
