Man that's crazy. I can't believe a player would put up with that from a parent. Then again they're really young and don't have much life experience I guess.
So relieved Reinhart isn't the Sam who fell to the Flames. And that's not hindsight - I never understood all the love Reinhart got. I'm still unconvinced that a players whose only standout qualities are hockey IQ and soft hands will ever be an impact player.

Lawson Crouse returned to the OHL despite some rumors that he would get 9 games to start the year with the Panthers due to his 8 game suspension in the OHL.
He was a late cut on a team with some good forward depth. I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the team to start next year. He had a pretty strong camp.

Anthony Duclair (80th overall 2013) gets a hattrick for the Coyotes. Hot Damn
And this Max Domi kid holy crap can he skate. Same build to him that Johnny Hockey does (just a little bigger) but amazing speed and insane hands. Thats going to be a fun offense to watch when Strome joins in.

Domi is listed at 5'10 and 198 lbs. He's built like his dad and that's probably 40 lbs more Johnny.
Since Petan was one of four prospects the Flames brought back to Calgary (Monahan, Klimchuk & Poirier the others), does anyone wish we picked Petan over Klimchuk or Poirier (obviously we weren't picking Nic over Sean)?

Too early to make a fair judgment yet, but I wanted him at the time. Granted, I had no idea who Poirier was back then and was biased by something I read about Klimchuk saying his NHL upside was as a 4th liner. That report looks like it was probably an outlier though.

I agree with FlamesAddiction. The early returns in Winnipeg look promising, but it remains to be seen how he will manage through a full season's schedule and beyond.
Resurrection's assessment is really premature by comparing Petan to Gaudreau. In what I have seen, there is little comparison outside of being small and quick. Guardian is on another level entirely.
