HEAT GOAL!
Ben Street. Assist to Knight and Cundari.
1-0 Heat. PP Goal. 5 straight games with a PP goal.
Edit: Officially given to Street. Should be Granlund.
Edit 2: Might be Street's. With Knight and Granlund. Seems to be mass confusion on who tipped it and how many times.

Rampage Goal - John Lee
1-1 Tie.
Wotherspoon sort of tipped that one into his own net.

Ortio with all 4 wins in this four game win streak, and is now 4-0 with the Heat.
1.83 GAA and a .936 save percentage so far.
EDIT: Also was 4-0 in the ECHL with a 1.01 GAA and a .944 save percentage.
He keeps that up and he'll get a look with the Flames soon too.

It's early, but the 8-4-1 Conference leading Heat are being prospect driven.
--> 8 of their top 10 scorers are 24 or under
(Knight 22, Reinhart 21, Byron 24, Hanowski 22, Billins 24, Horak 22, Jooris 23, Granlund 20)
--> 6 of their top 10 scorers are either in their 1st or 2nd year of NA pro hockey
(Knight 1st, Reinhart 2nd, Hanowski 1st, Billins 2nd, Jooris 1st, Granlund 1st)
Plus they are currently being back stopped by 22 year old Ortio who's numbers I mentioned earlier are sparkly so far.

So someone has to be getting a call-up now. 22 on the Flames roster and now Glencross down, they will need a body and someone to take up some decent time.
Heat PBP seem to think it will be Knight, Jones or Horak.
I'm going to go with Horak because of the experience and versatility. He can play centre if they want to sit Backlund, he can play wing to outright replace Glenny or Stemps. And I think he would be okay playing 15 minutes a game and special teams, he's getting a ton of time with Abbotsford in all situations. I think Knight's limitation right now is that he is mainly a centre, moulded as one in Abbotsford and so unless the plan is to sit Backlund quite a bit or move him to the wing, he wouldn't be used the way they are developing him.

Brady Lamb always wins Movember and it's not even close after that. Street's often the distant second.

Ortio is rocking it really good. May give Lamb a run.
