iPad mini appears to be a weird shape, doesn't look like it would be overly comfortable to hold in one hand.

Wow thats expensive. it's not really competing with the nexus 7 or the kindle.
Stock down $10 since the announcement.
Down $15 now.

Have to say I'm fairly impressed with Apple's product again in terms of body design. Managing to remove that much bezel is going to be a big thing to compare between the Nexus 7 and iPad Mini. The price point of $330 might be high for some people but since most Apple consumers are already used to or are comfortable with paying a premium, I don't see it being a significant negative at all.

I was hoping for a lower price point, but it won't stop me from getting one.... I'm just torn between a 4th gen iPad or a iPad mini... i need to upgrade my original iPad.

I was just checking out the apple store.. looks like its the same price point $329 for the base model.

Gen 3 has a retina though. I think Gen 3 just goes away.
Pretty cool the price point doesn't change for Canadians.
