They could nickname the Telus tower 'Sore Thumb' because it looks like gauze at the top. Its a shame that Brookfield is just a massive glass box without any distinguishing features. Opportunity missed IMO. It's about half as distinctive as The Bow.

No argument there on shape, but will be interesting to see how Brookfield's crown looks when finished. Especially at night.

However - compare our Brookfield project to Toronto's - Bay-Adelaide Centre. Although both twin boxes, ours is a superior design in my view:
Brookfield Place Calgary

It just blows me away that suncore center is beginning to look insignificant in our skyline.

It's weird. It was the only building over 200m for nearly 30 years, and by the end of the decade, there will be at least 6 over 200.

Kind of odd to have the Bow in there, since it is the only completed skyscraper of the choices. They should have kept it as only upcoming projects to be voted on.
I went Telus Sky.

I can only think of five. The three that are built, plus Telus and Brookfield.

SSP's diagram shows Kings on Fourth over 200m. Or maybe getbak knows something we don't?

King on 4th, if it gets built, should be 200-ish meters. Don't know if that's what he was referring to though.

There's a rumor that there's a project already in the works that's taller then Brookfield Place too.

Vogue is finally moving. Kings on 4th should be next in Lacaille's pipeline. I agree that Kings probably won't be soon but I wouldn't give up on it entirely.
