Baghdatis is such a nice guy. Or he just wants to go home...
Someone like (ahem Nalbandian) would have been stalling that last hour and he definitely would have not allowed this final game to be played after 11pm.

Baghdatis deserves some props for letting the tournament keep its schedule in place. They really need to find a way to ensure this doesn't happen. Imagine they have to stop a QF or SF because its 11pm.

Why don't they just close the roof at Wimbledon? Why do they keep looking up at the sky and humping the grass to see if it's wet?
The Federer match was delayed 4 times. The Ivanovic match now got off to a late start.

Yeah close that roof, I wanna see how much louder and more awful Azarenka's bird mating calls are in an enclosed space. Also I'm worried Ivanovic will get blown away like a twig in the wind.

Wimbledon has the dumbest rules.
First they didn't play on the middle Sunday when it was sunny while the forecast called for rain the next 3 days. It's like 1950 when we didn't know what the weather tomorrow would be.
Another rule is a match can't change courts after it has started on another court. Djokovic's match finished on Center Court at 7:30pm. There's still 3.5 hours of play available.
Can't move Cilic-Murray, Gasquet-Mayer or Fish-Tsonga over because they had already started on another court. Ferrer-Del Porto were sent home because their match was scheduled after Gasquet-Mayer.
So the only match that hasn't started is Baker-Kohlscriber! Put them on Center Court. But nooooo who the hell are those guys? We can't put them on the sacred Center Court.
So all play suspended, fans go home.. and a stadium with a roof is empty.
Rain expected ALL day tomorrow and Center Court will start at...? You guessed it 1pm.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

part of the problem is that it takes too long for the roof to close and the court to get de-humidified or whatever (45+ mins). because of that they're always indecisive since they don't want to play indoors unless absolutely necessary. but i'd rather have them complain that they had to play indoor tennis, rather than nonexistent tennis.
Fed is super lucky to have gotten off court first and maximized his injury treatment time. imagine if they scheduled him last and he ended up having to play like 3 times in 4 days with a bad back...ridiculous.
but it looks like you got your wish GirlySports, they'll be starting up tomorrow bright and early...at noon. with that whole extra hour, they're totally guaranteed to catch up to the schedule.

Delpo-Ferrer 1st on CC tomorrow
imagine it rains, they finish and Murray is still stuck out on Court 1 and can't finish?

Ferrer is a foot shorter than Delpo physically, but about 2 feet taller mentally. now there's an example of a guy that goes all out every shift.
Tsonga and Fish are totally screwed, they're gonna be 2 full days behind schedule. what are they gonna do though, can't break tradition now...

The one everyone wants to see is tomorrow. I think Djoker will win it in 4 and that Fed will have had his chances to win the match but simply will not convert.

Looks like Federer is actually cashing in his chances, up 2 sets to 1.

What a rally in that game for Novak, from 0-40 down and back again. It's what makes him so hard to kill. Federer might want to finish this match out in this set.

Djokvoic has a way of crawling back, so you're definitely right. Get it done, Roger.
