$40,000 fine for Dunta Robinson's hit on Maclin, but no suspension. Surprised he didn't get at least a game for that, especially as a repeat offender.

Cutler is a good teammate and offensive leader as said time and time again by players and coaches but just because he has to seperate himself from his team in order to hit the reset button means nothing.

it amazes me how Bear fans are blind to this clowns antics... i guess not having a good QB for that many years will do that.. there is a reason why he is percieved as a baby... all the tools no toolbox. the bears would have been better off with Orton and all those pics you gave up to acquire cutler

Rams should be up easily if not for dreadful red zone play, and that disgraceful display by the Giants.

2 players faking injuries to stop the no huddle offense that they couldn't defend.

Its still cheap, Edmonton Eskimos pull that crap all the time under Danny Machocho.
If you can't be in good enough shape to keep up with the pace, then get the eff of the field or go play baseball.

It's the comical way they did it ... both walking on the field after the play and then just flopping.

It has nothing to do with "being in shape"....its about getting a personel set on the field that you want versus the offensive formations you are seeing....nothing to do with conditioning.

If your going to do it, at least make it seem real. They both fell one seen the other go down the other pops right back up. It was like the Sedin sisters where in action.

Great 2nd effort on that catch. Nicely done. Awesome catch.
What the heck was the Ram defender doing? Terrible coverage.

Minus 2 bad mistakes by the Rams, they should really be winning this game as the 2 minute drill was the only positive drive manufactured by the Giants.
The NFC East has to be the most over rated division by a land slide in the NFL.

Absolutely, after all Orton did lead the Bears to all those playoff perf.... Divisional Cham..... Oh right, that one winning season. Fact is that Jay Cutler has all the tools, the commitment and the head to lead a team to be a playoff contender. Cutler has been the most sacked quarterback in the NFL since joining the Bears and still lead them to within one game of the superbowl last year.
Its impressive that a player with "no toolbox" can hold single season records in Denver such as: - Passing yards: 4,526
- Pass completions: 384
- Pass attempts: 616
- 300-yard passing games: 8
All in John Elway's house.
Cutler is the best quarterback Chicago has had in a long time, and anyone who watches more then the highlights the next day would know that.

he might be the best the bears have had in sometime, what does that mean? he is better than Grossman, Mcnown et al.. whooo lofty company there.. whats with bringing up Elways name, are you trying to say he is in the same class as Elway?? oh yeah Jay " i've got a stronger arm than Elway" Cutler is a real prize. finally gets to the playoffs, gets crushed by the Pack, then shuts it down. a real winner

Looks like your reading comprehension is about as good as your football comprehension. I never said they were in the same class despite your best efforts to put words in my mouth.
If the way you judge a player's performance is by his losing to the Super Bowl Champions then I guess there is just no impressing you under any circumstances, but quarterbacks like Brees, Manning, Rivers couldnt take their higher touted and more offensively talented teams as far as Cutler carried the Bears last season. It's also a little premature to call out a quarterback just starting his 5th season for not being a winner.

if you knew football, you would know that Cutler didnt carry the Bears to 1 game short of the super bowl last year, their defense did. he was merely adequete. based on your thinking, do you consider Mark Sanchez the best in the AFC? after all "HE" beat Brady and Manning in the playoffs. Brees, Manning and Rivers didnt have nearly as good of a defense. that does make a difference. for example, see Roethlisberger.

DropIt you're arguing with a Chargers fan. Just let it go, they never shut up. His innate hatred of Cutler is akin to my Bronco fan flavoured hatred of Philip "I'm good in meaningless games" Rivers. You'll never win
As far as Cutler goes skill wise he's easily top 5 in the league but he does need to make up for the perceived lack of mental toughness he's gotten a rap for. Between his demanding a trade out of Denver because his BFF was fired, his boo boo in the NFC title game that made him sit out when the rest of the NFL was calling him a word that rhymes with lussy and his general "meh" demeanor he's got a long way to go. The guy has skills but right now he's a hell of a lot closer to Jeff George than Bret Favre.
