A lot of the snow has melted already, and as for the dump this weekend, I don't see that either. The Weather Network says up to 1cm on Saturday...

I miss my trips to Arizona and all the great golfing weather. Went regularly for 10 years before my parents sold thier winter home there. Should have bought thier place

I was driving and a car from the other lane drove by and a huge sloth of snow flew onto my windshield making me blind for a second. Frikking scary considering we were going 80 km/hr on a bend with a car in front, behind and on the side.

Probably a pretty common occurrence today.

Hopefully this is our last BIG dump...

It was the forecast on TV. Weather Network has updated their forecast and upped the snow amount and Environment Canada hasn't updated since 2PM Thursday as of this post.

Yikes...you poor suckers. So that will be 2 - 2 1/2 feet of snow in 3 days? In the middle of April?

I feel for you.

I saw our pool company prepping the pool for opening this afternoon.

Pretty sure your pool isn't opening this year due to government cutbacks.

You missed part of your post, so I fixed it for you

Also, most of my friends and neighbours here have second homes in the Valley or on the coast, which more than makes up for our long winters.

See, I dont mind the snow. Its alright, I like snow, particularly when its not freezing cold outside. Snow and -2 or -4 is no biggie.

Same. If winter was like this or normally above -10, 80% of the time, it would be a lot more tolerable to deal with. Even if it snowed a bunch.

I do mind the snow. Most golf courses were open by this time last year. Now we'll be lucky if courses are open by the end of April

Honestly, at this rate we might be lucky to have leaves on the trees by the end of May.
